Recently, Lauren London got down with Angie Martinez to talk about her life and how she’s adapted to losing Nipsey Hussle. The profoundly perceptive conversation reveals a side of London that few are aware of.

Although the actress has a reputation for being r’eclusive and reserved, during this interview, she was candid and open about her experiences with loss and grief and how they have affected her. Due to the chemistry between the two women, the interview is unexpectedly lighthearted.

London discussed some quite serious subjects despite all the laughter and giggling. Angie mentioned how many people now cluster around Lauren and want to give her the impression that she is being safeguarded.

Lauren concurs and claims that she sensed the enthusiasm from others, which enabled her to deal with some particularly glo’omy situations. Although Lauren London claims to be going through a rebirth, she still struggles. Lauren confessed that her memory has been affected by sadness as Angie sought to remember her of the 2021 movie “Without R’emorse” that she co-starred in with Michael B. Jordan.

“Grief really affects your memories in unique ways. Many things are blocked out. She said she battles with it often and compared it to pregnancy brain. People would mention events from 2016 to me, but I couldn’t recall them. I largely ignore my previous existence.

Lauren reveals the depths of her emotions in her account of her reaction to Nipsey Hussle’s passing. She acknowledges that she sometimes finds it difficult to smile, take a shower, or be in the moment. I recall having a very gl’oomy sensation and wondering if I would ever laugh again.

Will there be anything that truly makes me laugh? Angie questioned Lauren if she had bathed that day, and the actress laughed and b’ragged about how she had done her hair, nails, and makeup while the other ladies found a h’umorous moment within the de’pressing admission. It was pretty dark where I was. I’m not just someone who feels things. I go in.
